When I saw this in Sephora recently I was drawn to the compact size. I’ve always loved palettes for travel, my Becca x Chrissy being one of my most used of all time.
The Fever Dream series comes in two variations; the pinkier cool-toned Lustre Dream and the warm coral Wild Thing that I picked up.
Highlighter: No Limit
All of the shades are beautiful, but I’m most surprised by the highlighter shade, ‘No Limit’. I’ve never owned nor tried NARS highlighters (being more than content with my Becca highlighters. The moment I swatched the highlight shade in the Wild Thing palette on my arms, it was love. The highlight was buttery smooth, yet so pigmented and blinding. It’s also the most flattering champagne gold shade on my skin.
Blush: Goddess Complex
The blush shade, ‘Goddess Complex’ is a shimmery coral shade that is flattering. It looks bright in the pan and intimidating, but it buffs out to a beautiful wearable flush. It reminds me a little of the Ridiic match Stix. I was worried the shimmer was not going to be kind on my textured skin, but the shimmers were so fine that it smoothens I reckon it’ll make a flattering top coat for my blushes.
Eyeshadow Quad
The eyeshadow quad are within my family of shades that I love:
Alive: a nude brown.
Psyched: a warmer chocolate brown.
Erratic: a shimmery golden champagne that leans a little cool-toned.
Lala: an ultra rich shimmery bronze.
Ugh, I could eat this palette for lunch.
Perfect Travel Palette
I’ve been playing with this palette for a little over a week now and have even brought it on an overseas trip. I’m glad to report this is a fabulously effortless palette for a complete look. The colours aren’t unique, except for maybe the blush shade, but I love the colour story for an easy everyday look.
